Author was talking about the negative self talk. I still remember that phrase in certain situations.<br /><br />As a Mom of little ones, at one phase in my life, when they were spilling milk, etc, etc. I would talk to my self like this: "Now, Mary, it's going to take a long time and lots of work to get rid of that adrenalin so you better not work yourself up. You'll save time by grabbing a rag and wiping it up." Of course, by then, I had to laugh instead of unleashing angry words at the child.<br />Such wisdom, Mary!
